Keystone Craft Show

It was a windy day but no rain at the craft show.  It was our first craft show and we loved meeting others that were excited about our product.  We are looking forward to seeing many of you at our Open House on Saturday, October 22nd!!!!

JULY SCHEDULE

The new catalog and samples have arrived. It is really hard to choose where to start. There will be limited workshops in July and August as vacations have occupied everyone here at the cottage. ( Just a quick update on the socks: Still ripping out but have not given up yet.)

  1. STAMPIN’  UP  WORKSHOP:    JULY 20th, 7-9 pm.   Two cards, a birthday and a Christmas card.  “Yes“, it is halfway through the year and time to think about December.  When it is ninety plus outside, it will be holiday cool inside.   This  will be using Stampin’ Up products, and give you a chance to check out the new catalog and colors.  There is no cost for the workshop.
  2. PAPERCRAFTING with DIECUTS (electronic)  This will feature the CRICUT and GYSPY  by Provo Craft. 
  3. TOOLS-TECHNIQUES-COLORS:  Nothing scheduled for July.

BLUE HEALTH FAIR The Cottage is a little slow in starting off. Yesterday Housemom was at the Blue’s monthly health fair, with a little card maker using Stampin’Up products. I hope everyone had fun. The favorite card was the butterfly 3D – the youngest stamper 5 or 6 years old – and kudos to the young MAN’s build a bear card – 4 winners of prizes. It was a hit for us and hope to see more of the ladies, we met there, here at the Cottage. Monday the shipment from Stamp’Up’s new 2011-2012 catalog should arrive. It is full of great new items and fun “IN COLORS”. You can get a chance to try some soon. Craft-U-Later House Mom

Today’s events July 8th

Look for the Craft-T-Cottage display at the Blue’s Store monthly health fair.  It’s located on Westshore with easy parking at Westshore Mall.

 You can get lots of good health info there (free), but stop by and see me.

 I will have a free make and take card for you – the new Stampin’ Up catalog – and- chances to win some craft supplies from Stampin’ Up.

 New Craft-t-cottage calendar should be ready this Monday.  I expext my order from the new catalog that afternoon,  so we will have new thing to try.

Remember there are monthly scrapbook nights (with lots of diecuts),  Stampin’Up workshops, and “Cards for a Cause” night.

I may add some knitting nights and classes if there is interest.  craft-u-later  House Mom

Look for the up coming events that will be happening at the cottage starting in June. It will be a new calendar, dates, and craft types. There will be our “Girls Only” events, those are for girls 8 to 12; “Ladies Night Out”; a scrapbook crop each month; “Stamp a Set”, for our cardmakers; and the “Threads a Picking” sewing and quilting group. There is a knitting night in the works also. The cottage is meant to be a place for the fun of crafting along with a whole lot of chatting. Hoping to see you here. House Mom
